Critique a famous photographer

 1. A photograph tells us what is happening in that specific moment in time. Whether it is posed or candid, a photo still tells a memory or a story no matter the shot. The picture shows two women getting ready together in a bathroom. It looks like they’re getting ready for the day together. One is looking out the window and it looks like she is either being sneaky or saw something she didn’t like and the other one looks like she is coming out from behind the curtain like she was being sneaky for a moment too. 2. The techniques that were used for this photo might be a tripod was set up (because the photo was vey still) Maybe like some sort of saturation was used (because photo is very bright with colors) and flash and they might’ve used a slow shutter speed (because the lady was walking in the picture but it was very clear and not blurry at all). 3.  Adjectives that I think describe this photo: Colorful, Clean, Domestic, Expressive, Fancy, Girly. 4.  The photograph seems to be girly as

Weekend Homework

       The phrase "a picture means a thousand words" means to me that someone captured a moment that you could not simply say out loud or describe, you'd have to see the photo in order to understand the feelings or memories someone else had experienced. This is my favorite photograph I took in this class because it looks so moody and the river is centered so perfectly. I also love the little pops of color from the autumn trees,
